About EKU Agriculture
In the Department of Agriculture at Eastern Kentucky University, we pride ourselves on experiential learning and industry networking.
In our program, students experience hands-on learning at our 1,000 acre production farm, in our green houses, teaching & research labs, mechanic shop, and garden & turf plots. Class sizes are small and engagment is high! Faculty members routinely offer student opportunities for attendance to scientific/industry conferences, competitions, symposiums and more! As a result, our students can develop a professional network to assist them upon graduation.
The Agriculture Department at Eastern Kentucky University offers a variety of academic programs. Students can earn a two-year associates degree in Technical Agriculture and/or a four-year Bachelor's Degree in Animal & Veterinary Sciences, or Agriculture with various concentrations to choose from.
