AG selects John Thomas as 2003 distinguished alum

EKU's Department of Agriculture is pleased to announce that Mr. John Thomas has been selected as their departmental distinguished alum for 2003.

Mr. Thomas was honored during a presentation on Friday, March 28, 2003, at the annual College of Business and Technology Professional Skills Conference senior recognition luncheon.

The honor is reserved for special alumni who have distinguished themselves in their professions through excellence, dedication, and service.

Mr. Thomas is Associate Vice President and Branch Manager of Ag Credit, Richmond, Kentucky.  He has served on numerous community agriculture-related boards, is a graduate of Leadership Madison County, and currently serves on the EKU Agriculture Advisory Board as well as the EKU Animal Care and Use Committee.

Congratulations, Mr. Thomas, on being selected as the College of Business and Technology 2003 Distinguished Alum representing the Department of Agriculture.

The college also honored distinguished seniors for the year as selected by their respective departments within the College of Business and Technology. In addition, recipients of scholarships and awards for the 2002-03 academic year were recognized. Students were honored for outstanding achievement and more than 40 area employers were on hand to engage in networking activities with college graduating seniors.
