Interested in Being the Student Speaker at CBT Graduation?

We are happy to announce that the College of Business and Technology (CBT) is offering a $250 stipend to a graduating student to develop and give a speech at the Fall 2019 Graduation Ceremony!

To be eligible the student must have applied for Fall or Winter 2019 Graduation within the College of Business and Technology. The committee is looking for a student willing to share their EKU experience. To apply, please submit the following by Friday, October 11 at 4:00pm:  

  • A cover page that includes basic information about yourself including your cumulative GPA, the program you are graduating from, and contact information (cell phone, email, other contact where you can be reached).
  • A draft speech of what you will tell the graduating class and guests about your educational experience as well as opportunities you had while at EKU. Speeches should be about 4-5 minutes in length, which is about 3-4 pages of double-spaced text.
  • One letter of recommendation from a faculty member supporting your application.
  • Materials due no later than Friday, October 11, 2019 at 4:00pm
