Marcy Franks' Research Published in BEEF Magazine
Kentuckian and EKU alum Marcy Franks has been published.
While a student in the Animal Studies program, Franks was a student in two of Dr. Ed Fredrickson's livestock classes. Franks recently earned her MS in Livestock Behavior with Temple Grandin. And now, her research at Colorado State University has been featured in BEEF magazine.
According to Fredrickson, “While a student in the Animal Studies program, Marcy was a student in my Principles of Animal Science and Livestock Behavior classes. This shows some of what the Department of Agriculture can accomplish when working with people like Dr. Robert Mitchell and the Animal Studies program. Marcy is now an asset to Kentucky beef producers and a person EKU can be proud of nurturing.”
