On January 16, 2018, two EKU Agriculture students, Kelsey Lainhart and Hannah Carper, shared their knowledge about Agnes Chase, a woman pioneering advances in science and women's suffrage. Kelsey is a senior Agronomy, Soils & Natural Resources major from Berry, Ky., while Hannah is a sophomore in Agribusiness Management from Shelbyville.

The EKU Agriculture Department and Meadowbrook Farm prepare clinics and workshops for EKU students interested in getting some hands-on animal experience. 

Different Pathways, Common Interest

EKU has a mix of many different students with many different pasts, but a common interest and similar goals bring our students together. Two of EKU’s Agriculture students, Megan Petersen and Victoria Cassidy are proof of that.

Both students are Agriculture majors with concentrations in Pre Veterinary studies. They are both about halfway through the four year program.
