Save the Date!

The 2016 Fall Field Day at EKU's Meadowbrook Farm will be on Thursday, September 29th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

This July 25th report features Justin McKinney who has just been named Director of Farms for Eastern Kentucky University. 

McKinney talks about his background at the University of Florida, the value of research and extension, and the facilities at EKU which he says are top notch for ag students in the region.

Justin McKinney has recently accepted the position of Director of Farms at Eastern Kentucky University. McKinney has deep roots in southeastern U.S. agriculture and studied at the University of Florida (UF), a land-grant institution. He holds an undergraduate degree in agribusiness management and a graduate degree in agronomy.

EKU's Department of Agriculture is pleased to announce that Mr. Marcus Adams has been selected as their departmental distinguished alum for 2016.

Mr. Adams was honored during a presentation in April at the Department of Agriculture College to Careers senior seminar.
